Giovanna Paoloni has been appointed CEO and general manager of Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella, succeeding Gian Luca Perris, according to Forbes.

Paoloni has held previous roles at Prada, Armani, Harrods and Bottega Veneta.

Perris will reportedly continue to work as a consultant and support the further development of the brand's fragrance segment.

In the last three years, Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella has reportedly doubled its revenues, the number of stores and the number of employees. It has a presence in more than 30 countries.
